James C. (Chris) Taylor, a native of Texas, has
lived in California since 1989. Prior to entering the financial advisory
profession in 1996, he had helped run a family business-a cotton gin supply
company in Texas and served in the ministry as a youth pastor.
Before he founded Cornerstone Financial
Consultants he worked with two major brokerage firms; A.G. Edwards and
Piper Jaffrey. He is now affiliated with The O.N. Equity Sales

Taylor's desire was to be independent and at the same time connected

does best, working with people and building strong relationships.
He manages equities, fixed income, cash
management, and tax-free Municipal bond portfolios. He consults
with high net worth clients regarding portfolio asset allocation,
resulting in the management of mutual fund accounts and/or selection of
private money managers. He consults with athletes, small-business
owners, professionals and other high net worth individuals regarding tax
advantaged investing. These tax-advantaged investments include
insurance, annuities, business retirement plans (specializing in defined
benefit plans such as 412(i), Section 79 and 419 plans) and charitable
reminder trusts.
Mr. Taylor is a registered financial advisor with the NFL
Players Association. He lives in Lodi, California with his wife
Vicki and their four children, Robert, Kristen, Michael and Katelyn.
In addition to helping his clients
manage their wealth, Mr. Taylor enjoys spending time with his family,
writing and acting in dramas, and fishing. He is an ordained
minister and actively involved in his church, as well as civic groups
including the Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Taylor earned a BA in History/Government from Columbia
College in Columbia, Missouri and spent two years at Trinity Evangelical
Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.
